Pricing in Nebius AI: pay-as-you-go and commitment discounts
Nebius AI provides two pricing schemes which you can combine for your cloud resources.
Pay-as-you-go (PAYG)
By default, using Nebius AI resources is charged on a pay-as-you-go basis. This means that you only pay for the resources that you use, for as long as you use them.
The consumption unit used for PAYG billing depends on the resource type.
For example, computing resources of a Compute Cloud virtual machine (vCPUs, GPUs, RAM, and storage) are billed per second of usage. Object Storage buckets are billed per second of storage and per ten or hundred operations, like retrieving the bucket's metadata or uploading objects into it.
Commitment discounts
For key resources, such as Compute Cloud virtual machines (VMs) with GPUs, you can get commitment discounts on PAYG prices by committing to specific usage for a set time period and paying for it upfront or monthly.
For example, consider this configuration:
- 64 VMs, each with 8 NVIDIA H100 GPUs, 160 Intel Sapphire Rapids vCPUs, and 1280 GB RAM.
- A 128 TB SSD file storage shared between the VMs.
The costs of running it for 3 months (90 days) are:
Pricing scheme Cost Savings PAYG (no discounts) $5,395,226.88 With commitment discount $3,960,000.00 ~27%
You can purchase resources with commitment discounts when signing up for Nebius AI, and at any point of using it. Other resources will still be charged on a pay-as-you-go basis.
