Node groups with GPUs
You can create node groups with graphics accelerators (GPUs) in Kubernetes clusters. A node is created from an image of a GPU-compatible VM without NVIDIA drivers. Learn how to manage drivers via the GPU Operator.
Requirements
-
The cloud must have a non-zero GPU quota.
By default, many quotas for creating VMs with GPUs are set to zero. You can generate a request for a quota increase
in the management console. To do this, you need to be in your organization'seditors
oradmins
group.
Pricing
To run node groups with GPUs, you need a Kubernetes cluster, a VM with a GPU, and traffic. Therefore, billing consists of the following parts:
- Using a Kubernetes master is charged according to the Managed Service for Kubernetes pricing policy.
- VM with a GPU — according to the Compute Cloud pricing policy.
- Outgoing traffic — according to the Virtual Private Cloud pricing policy.
