Pricing for Object Storage
To calculate the cost of using Object Storage, see the prices on this page.
What goes into the cost of using Object Storage
The Object Storage usage cost is based on:
- The amount of storage used by your data.
- The number of operations on your data.
- The amount of outgoing traffic.
In all calculations, 1 GB = 230 bytes.
Standard storage resources are provided free of charge every month:
- The first 1 GB of storage a month.
- The first 10000 PUT, POST operations.
- The first 100000 GET, HEAD, OPTIONS operations.
After you've used up your free service amounts, you will be charged at the applicable rate. The unused balance of free services is reset at the end of the month.
Using storage
Storage usage is measured in GB per month. The volume of data stored during a month is the average value over the month based on granulated per-second data. The minimum billable unit is 1 hour of storing 1 MB of data.
Performing operations with data
Data operations are charged according to the following policy:
- The minimum pricing unit for PUT and POST operations is 10.
- The minimum billable unit for GET, HEAD, OPTIONS operations is 100.
- You aren't charged for deleting data (the DELETE operation).
Pricing
All prices are shown without any applicable taxes, including VAT. To learn more about the taxes calculation, see Taxes.
Data storage
The cost of 1 GB per month is fixed and doesn't depend on the number of days in the month.
Service | Cost of 1 GB per month |
---|---|
First 1 GB per month1 | Free |
Over 1 GB per month2 | $0.0145 |
1 The daily cost of data storage service is calculated as Cost_of_1_GB_per_month / number_of_days_in_the_month
. For shorter months, the storage cost per day is higher. For longer months, it's lower.
Example of proportional calculation: let's say the user stores 15 GB of data for 11.5 hours during a 30-day month. The total cost of storage can be calculated using the formula:
Storage_cost = Cost_per_GB_per_month × 15 × 12 / 24 / 30
2 The first 1 GB of data stored per month is free of charge.
For example, if the monthly cost of storing 1 GB of data is $0.0145 and the amount of data stored per month is 23 GB, the storage cost per month will be:
(23 − 1) × $0.0145 = 22 × $0.0145 = $0.319
Data operations
Service | Cost |
---|---|
The first 10000 PUT operations per month | Free |
The first 10000 POST operations per month | Free |
The first 100000 GET operations per month | Free |
The first 100000 HEAD operations per month | Free |
The first 100000 OPTIONS operations per month | Free |
1000 PUT operations | $0.0034 |
1000 POST operations | $0.0034 |
10000 GET operations | $0.0028 |
10000 HEAD operations | $0.0028 |
10000 OPTIONS operations | $0.0028 |
Note
Data operations that result in an error are charged only in the following cases:
- Error code 403 for a GET, HEAD, OPTIONS operation.
- Error code 404 for a PUT, POST, GET, HEAD, OPTIONS operation.
Prices for storage are applied when calculating costs.
Each month, the first 10000 PUT and POST operations and the first 100000 GET, HEAD, OPTIONS operations in storage are free of charge.
For example, if the monthly cost of 10000 GET operations in storage is $0.0028 and the amount of GET operations per month is 24500, the total monthly cost of data operations will be:
((24500 − 10000) / 10000) × $0.0028 = (14500 / 10000) × $0.0028 = $0.00406
Egress traffic
When using the service, you pay for traffic from Nebius AI to the internet. Traffic between Nebius AI services and incoming internet traffic are free.
The minimum billable unit is 1 MB. The billing period is a calendar month.
Resource category | Cost of 1 GB |
---|---|
Outgoing traffic up to 100 GB per month | Free |
Outgoing traffic over 100 GB and up to 1 TB | $0.0150 |
Outgoing traffic over 1 TB and up to 50 TB | $0.0135 |
Outgoing traffic over 50 TB and up to 100 TB | $0.0120 |
Outgoing traffic over 100 TB | $0.0105 |
The first 100 GB of outgoing traffic per month for Object Storage is free of charge.
For example, if the cost of 1 GB of outgoing traffic over 100 GB and up to 1 TB per month is $0.015, and you had 283 GB of outgoing traffic for the month, the cost for the month will be:
(283 − 100) × $0.015 = 183 × $0.015 = $2.745
