Deleting a bucket
Warning
You can only delete empty buckets. In the management console, information about the number of objects in a bucket is updated with a few minutes' delay.

- In the management console
, select the folder you want to delete a bucket from. - Select Object Storage. This opens a page with a list of buckets.
- To delete a single bucket, click
- In the window that opens, click Delete.
If you don't have the Nebius AI command line interface yet, install and initialize it.
The folder specified in the CLI profile is used by default. You can specify a different folder using the --folder-name
or --folder-id
parameter.

Get a list of buckets in the default folder:
ncp storage bucket list

Use the
NAME
column to save the name of the bucket you are going to delete. -
Delete the bucket:
ncp storage bucket delete --name <bucket_name>
Where
--name
is the name of the bucket to delete.
